This summer, we hosted Phase 2 of our Women Who Lift program, and with its success, we’re excited to see how this empowering series continues to grow. In this second chapter, participants built on the basics learned in Phase 1, taking strength training to the next level with more movement, less stop-and-start, and plenty of coaching support along the way.
Turning up the intensity.
Phase 2 was designed to enhance strength, stamina, and self-belief. While the workouts built on the confidence and skills developed in Phase 1, the program also welcomed new participants with a basic knowledge of strength training. Sessions remained low-impact and joint-friendly but shifted toward more continuous training with less time spent on instruction. Instead, participants were guided with real-time coaching cues, encouragement, and modifications as needed, helping everyone move safely and effectively at their own pace.
Strength in numbers.
For many participants, the group dynamic was just as motivating as the workouts themselves. Participant Cathy Swaney shared that her favorite part of the program was working with trainer Neshia alongside “a group of fabulous women.” Cathy joined the program because she wanted to become stronger and more flexible, and maintain her strength as she ages. Women Who Lift has left her feeling energized and excited to continue: “I am excited about continuing the class and about the increased energy I feel,” she says.
Keep lifting with us.
