Aerobic activity throughout pregnancy has been linked to enhanced motor skills in one-month-old infants as well as developing a stronger heart pre-birth. Their pulses tended to be slower and the beat-to-beat variability greater which commonly signifies more resilient cardiac muscles.
These newborns may become physically coordinated at a quicker pace than their peers. Researchers found that moms who partook in prenatal dancing or jogging may have babies who are ahead of the curve with gripping, jostling and control when rolling.
Before beginning any new fitness regime, it is recommended that pregnant women consult their healthcare provider.
